I don't know about others, but for me, the scent was initially very strong. It made me want to go take a shower and wash it all off. It was quite irritating. However, after about 2-3 hours, the deodorant smell faded away. The sensations became somewhat comfortable. I will keep using it for home use, but I wouldn't use it when going out as it might overpower my perfume.
I bought this deodorant. The scent is not overpowering, but there is a significant downside. After using it, I noticed a lot of red patches on my underarms that were very painful and flaky. I will never buy Dove products again.
