Shade #20936 "Black Cherry". A beautiful and very elegant creamy shade. It applies easily, dries well, and has a wonderful brush. This nail polish has only advantages. You can see for yourself in the photo. It is applied in two layers (one thin, the other thicker). On top, I applied a top coat from Sally Hansen.
Shade #20727. Creamy blue-violet, and under artificial lighting, almost black, it's a beauty. Very comfortable to apply, but not long-lasting at all. A top coat is needed.
Shade #20087. An exquisite and elegant nail polish in the style of "rouge noir." It has great quality - with two coats, it appears glassy. It dries quickly, but it is not very long-lasting. To protect the manicure, a top coat is needed; otherwise, the polish won't last for even a day.
Awful to use nail polish. I don't know how it will wear, but dealing with it is impossible. I had a better opinion of this brand. I'm attaching a photo of the brush for comparison with another nail polish. Orly has a VERY thin and very long brush, it's just like a toothpick. Meanwhile, the polish itself is VERY runny, it all drips off the brush onto the cuticles. When you remove the excess from the cuticles, the polish continues to spread on the wiped areas. It's unbelievable. I will never get it again.
Product Review: "Fowl Play" #40753
"Fowl Play" is a semi-transparent jelly nail polish with a stunning deep blackberry color. It contains an abundance of rich and vibrant ruby and purple flecks, along with a touch of blue shimmer nestled within. Achieving the best results with this polish requires applying at least three thin coats and finishing it off with a high-gloss mirror top coat to enhance its shine and beauty.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to purchase regular nail polish. Orly polishes are top-notch. The colors are amazing. The only downside is that they take a long time to dry even with a top coat. Thank you to the store for the gift and the perfect packaging of the product.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to buy regular nail polish. Orly polishes are top-notch. The colors are fantastic. The only downside is that they take a long time to dry, even with a top coat. Thanks to the store for the gift and perfect packaging of the product.
I decided to revisit the legend of my youth - Orly. Of course, over the past decade, the formula and color palette have changed, for example, Monroe's red is nowhere to be found. But overall, the quality has remained just as good as before.
So I tried risque encounter. The nail polish is quite runny, so it should be applied in a very thin, transparent layer. And only after it has completely dried, apply the next coat. It is worth mentioning that the polish dries fairly quickly under these conditions and becomes opaque. The color in person is exactly like in the photo. I like that it doesn't have a blue undertone.
Shade #20757 "You're Blushing" is a light gray cream color that sometimes reveals a soft lilac undertone when exposed to bright light. Despite its thin texture, it applies effortlessly and dries quickly. It has a beautiful natural shine. With just two coats, it looks absolutely perfect.
The quality is very poor. Cheaper polishes last longer. The brush is thin and very long. But this could be managed. However, the polish does not stay on at all.
The colors in real life are very beautiful. The first one is more of a dusty beige with a hint of light pink, while the second one is an incredibly delicate matte gray!
I purchased number 20809, which is black with sparkles. The application is a bit messy. It lasted for 3 days with a base coat, top coat, and 2 layers. It is extremely difficult to remove the leftover sparkles. However, it looked quite nice during wear.
20751 - Sweet Peacock
The color is nice, but I'm a bit disappointed with the quality. The first time you apply it, it comes out with bald spots. The second time, you have to sit and cover up those bald spots... The brush is... I don't know... But two coats are enough to prevent the nail plate from shining through.
This is a great quality nail polish. The color is rich and vibrant. I highly recommend it!
My favorite nail polishes, but different shades apply and wear differently. My favorite is Star Spangled (one of the most popular, actually I bought it a long time ago based on reviews, and it's my number one), Ruby is also wonderful, Santa Fe Rose, Monroe Red, Ruby Passion, Miss Conduct, they all apply nicely, don't run, and are relatively long-lasting, but I always apply a top coat from Orly on top, with it both the appearance and durability of the nail polish are significantly better. However, there were some shades that I couldn't use, the application process was only negative. I can't remember their names, they were something in the coral peach range. But a few negative experiences haven't diminished my loyalty to Orly, I just read reviews more carefully to avoid mistakes. With a top coat, they last about a week on me, they withstand household chores. I buy all my nail polishes here, on make up.
And here's the shade 2000049 - so fly, that I didn't like. It doesn't apply well and takes a long time to dry. The only positive aspect is the beautiful color.
Shade 20693 - confetti, is very delicate, exactly what I was looking for. The brush is wide, making application convenient, and it dries quickly. In the photo, two coats are shown.
Good evening! I am very satisfied with my purchase. The nail polish is amazing, I apply it in two coats and it dries quickly. The color is pleasant and it doesn't chip until Sunday. It is also easy to remove. The delivery was fast. Super!
The nail polish is something that you need to adapt to and understand why it is needed. I have bought many different colors from various stores, and I can confidently say that. Depending on the collection, the brushes can be thin or wide. With a good base and top coat (not Orly, I have layered pies from different brands), I can easily wear the nails for a week or even longer, but the color tends to get boring. I wash dishes and do household work wearing gloves.
If the polish has shimmer or some kind of iridescence, it is most likely a topper. There are mostly toppers here. That's why it is difficult to achieve an opaque color, even with two coats. I often apply three coats or use a solid color as a base. Otherwise, it will streak and the nail tone will show through.
As for the downsides, the manufacturer is in the USA, so the price is high, and new colors are rarely restocked due to logistics. Sometimes the desired color is not available anywhere in Ukraine, and it is unlikely to be available because of the war. I deduct one star for its inaccessibility.
I also deduct one star because the pigment stains the nails. I have tried different base coats, but the same thing always happens. If the shade is dark, after removing the polish, you will definitely have an orange nail plate.
In conclusion, the nail polish gets a passing grade.
This product is quite runny, so it is advisable to apply it in two layers. However, it dries quickly.
Divine #20006 "Naughty". The shade of overripe cherry, incredibly beautiful and noble, it should be owned by every woman who occasionally paints her nails. The fastest drying and long-lasting. It is so easy to apply that it is simply impossible to paint it unevenly. I adore it, this is already my third bottle.
Shade #40730 Cotton Candy. A complex color that varies from light peach to faded pink, depending on the lighting. The texture is enamel, and the application provides a clean gloss. It dries quickly but does not last well, even with a primer, lasting only two to three days.
The nail polish is excellent! Do you want a magical sunset on your nails? Try the shade number 2000051 Hot Pursuit.
Shade #20648 Quite Contrary Berry.
This glossy finish is absolutely stunning. The cream is pure, making it easy to apply and dries quickly. It has a sophisticated appearance.
Shade 40763 After Party. It is a dark blue color, almost black, with a blue and pink shimmer. The consistency is quite thick, but it applies easily and dries quickly. As it dries, it gives a semi-matte finish, so a top coat is necessary for shine. It lasts for 3-4 days with a base coat, just like all other Orly nail polishes.
The Masked Ceremony is beautiful: dark and festive at the same time. It has a dark gray base with a metallic and purple fine shimmer, along with silver square glitter.
However, it takes some effort to evenly distribute the squares in the bottle, otherwise only the base is applied without the glitter. Simply shaking it is not enough, you need to rotate, flip, and wait for the components to mix.
The polish itself dries quickly, applies easily, and is easy to touch up, despite being a very dark shade. It is definitely worth its price.
I was not expecting such a super effect when I applied Monster Mash in a single layer on Liquid vinyl! My camera couldn't capture its full beauty, but it sparkles magnificently under any lighting. One layer is more than enough, as the brush picks up a decent amount of product and it is easy to distribute on the nail. I liked that it dries quickly, and I didn't even need to apply a top coat - it turned out quite smooth for this texture.
Product review:
Number 2000049 So fly is the perfect neon green! Finally, there's no need for a white base!)))) It's dense and vibrant with just two coats, and the top coat gives it a glossy finish. It dries quickly and in real life, it's more of a warm salad green than in the photo. I'm very satisfied!)))
This nail polish is amazing, it's worth the money. It has become one of my favorites. It has a unique "sand" texture that is hard to find. The shades are cool and the textures are varied, with clever names. It's fantastic! It dries quickly, I don't understand why some people complain. It only takes 1-3 minutes without drying and you're good to go. It lasts just like any other nail polish, there's no difference. But the colors, oh my goodness! In the photo, I'm wearing Pink Pixel and Aqua Pixel in just one coat.
I am very satisfied with the quality! I have never encountered a more convenient nail enamel application than the Gumdrop Mint Cream, number 20733! It is consistent, dense, and applies evenly from the first coat! With two coats, it looks just like gel polish! The semi-round brush is extremely comfortable and for the first time, I was able to draw a cuticle line with such precision, and it was easy and quick! With a top coat, it stays on for a week and looks brand new!
I chose color 20635, this brand for the first time. It is a nude-peach shade with glitter.
The quality is terrible =(( It streaks horribly. It starts clumping during application. In other words, if you hesitate even a little, there will be streaks of uncolored areas. If you try to take more on the brush and distribute it evenly for a longer time, it's as if the previous layer melts and streaks even more.
As a result, the manicure looks like something a teenager would do - messy, uneven, thick, with streaks. Maybe it can be done nicely in one quick, thin layer.
Or maybe it requires some serious skills to apply at least two coats and make it look good.
Product Review: Shade 20547 Ruby Passion - a beautiful, vibrant red with fine specks of silver and golden mica. These are not your ordinary glitters, which adds to the lacquer's stunning iridescence! Prior to purchasing, I checked reviews on other websites, so I knew what I was getting. The polish applies smoothly and dries quickly. I prefer applying two coats for an even more impactful effect, perfect for the summer season!
Continuation of my previous review.
I painted my nails with the shade Star Spangled on June 11th, and today is June 16th.
As a base, I used the Smart Polish by Frenchi (black letters on the bottle), and on top, I applied the Frenchi Smart Polish 3 in 1. You can buy this product on Makeup.
I highly recommend it.
The quality of the nail polish and brush is excellent. It applies easily and is a pleasure to use. However, unfortunately, the yellow HOOK UP 20639 turned out to be pearlescent and not as vibrant as I expected. I was hoping for an enamel or matte finish, but definitely not pearlescent, even if it is the finest.
I love the nail polishes of this brand. They last for 5 days without chipping, but the tips do wear off a bit.
To make the polish stay well, it is important to properly degrease the nail plate. That's all, there is no secret :)
P.S. I use the "Smart Enamel" as a base.
I did not like the nail polish. The brush is very narrow, making it extremely inconvenient to apply, and it streaks in just one coat. Additionally, it wears off at the edges of the nails after one day. The only questionable advantage of this product is the variety of colors it offers. It is definitely not worth the money.
The product applies beautifully and doesn't start chipping until at least 4 days later. However, today I took it off and noticed yellowing. And since there is no iodine in the ingredients, I would have started suspecting something, except that only 2 nails remained normal after using the topface product. What else could it be if not iodine?) P.S. In real life, the yellowing is much brighter.
Product Review: 20503 - Cherry Bomb is actually a beautiful shade that falls somewhere between red and orange. It applies smoothly and evenly, without any hassle. However, in terms of longevity, it has an average staying power, just like all other Orly nail polishes.
I chose shade 40675 First kiss, hoping for a very natural look. Unfortunately, it applies terribly, leaving streaks. You need to apply 3-4 layers for an even coverage. Although there are other shades available, they seem to be better without any issues.
Shade 20824. The staying power is average, lasts for about four days. Dries quickly.
The shade of 20383 is not quite as described. I was expecting a purple color, but it turned out to be more like a dusty rose with a hint of purple. It's still nice though. I only bought one purple shade and was expecting exactly that. Apart from that, the nail polish is fine.
Shade 40253, the disappointment of the century. It is a matte substance that peels off the nails in chunks just an hour after application.
Even though I've used Orly before and couldn't be happier, this one was a letdown. It applied easily, dried quickly, and stayed on my nails for a week. I never could have imagined such a difference in quality within the same line.
One thing that always pleases me, even when the product doesn't live up to expectations, is the courier service in Sumy. It's a rare combination of politeness and punctuality.
The color is truly tangerine, and it is very beautiful (at least in my opinion). However, that's where the positive aspects of the nail polish end.
The brush is extremely thin, making it inconvenient to paint with.
The consistency of the polish is too liquid, requiring several layers to achieve the desired effect.
The finish is matte, but it lacks sufficient shine.
Furthermore, it takes a long time to dry.
In the photo, it is shown with a top coat and drying agent (from Nogotok).
Dries quickly and lasts for about 5 days. I got the shade 20825. It's beautiful.
The colors Reel him in and Crawford's wine are very similar - a red with a hint of shimmer. I personally preferred the first one because of its berry undertone. The nail polish applies smoothly, but it takes a while to dry.
The nail polishes appear brighter in the photos than they do in real life.
Additional photos of models 20925 and 40005 are available.
More photos of item 20925 and 40005.
The colors are very beautiful. I have shade 20925, which is a delicate, light mint green with a glossy finish and no shimmer. It requires at least 2 coats, but it's better to apply three for a longer drying time. The brush is comfortable to use, although it is still a bit liquidy since I just bought it. I also have shade 40005, which is a peach color with a subtle pearl sheen. The color is beautiful, but it definitely needs three coats and tends to have some streaks. Unlike the first nail polish, the brush in this one is very thin and uncomfortable. It's unclear why they decided to make such a brush.
Beautiful color. Dries fairly quickly, but still requires a top coat. 20392 Super Natural.
